• Programming Editor - This is the IDE used to program the PICAXE's
• Terminal V1.9B for Windows - Since HyperTerminal is no longer bundled as part of windows as of Vista, every developer/hobbyist needs a good terminal program. This is an excellent freeware terminal program which I think is actually better than HyperTerminal.
